It seems like its a boring app... It is, BUT isnt chemistry supposed to be boring?? I watch the videos and they do so many examples on EVERYTHING to the point where it really sticks to your brain. Trust me. I bought the videos for $4.99 and honestly, I didnt buy the book for my general chemistry class but if I did, that would have run me at least $150-200 so its pretty obvious what the better option is here. (I know this sounds like a review written by someone that works for the company lol but it really is that good, I got a 95% on my last exam and I have to give a lot of credit to these guys. Buy the videos and youll pass (you have to watch them, obviously, you wont just pass by tapping a button

All the information on this app is available on YouTube with animated videos with narrators who dont sound thirsty (literally swallowing after every word) and creepy voice in you ear (if u wear headphones). Also u have to keep paying $10 per set of 10 lessons... Theres like 150 lessons, so u do the math. This app fraudulently made me believe that $10 buys u all the lessons. Shame on this company.

This app saved my life in gen chem! All my classmates are using it too. Best $5 I’ve ever spent! :)

I got the iPhone version, paid the in-app $5 for the content, then got the iPad version, and tried viewing the EXACT SAME CONTENT as I paid for on my iPhone... they want you to pay $10 MORE (double iPhone cost and $15 total for both devices) just to view on iPad! What a scam!!! Hack: get the iPhone version (if you buy at all) for the iPad and pay 1/3rd what you would pay for both devices. The app menu displays in portrait only but the lessons play in landscape. Dont get ripped off by Justin Weinberg, ceo and founder of this scam. Do they not realize that poor students are his target market?! Why charge twice and DOUBLE for the same content but viewable on iPad. Try the Khan Academy videos first. Sal and the other narrator for Khan Academy has a much better voice and SOME personality, as opposed to monotone, sleep inducing voice of the Chem Pro narrator. $15 for that? HA! You may know chemistry but ethics and business are not your strong suit, Justin.

I love the content but the only thing keeping me from rating this app a 5 star is that its hard to scrub in video. I find my self going back during the video and it would be nice if you added a button to go back 20 or 30 seconds back or forward too. Then, Ill give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Back to school 15 years later. This app 100% helped me get an A in chem I/II. Learned more from this app than teacher/book combined. So hoping an organic chem app is in the works. Thank you!!!

It only has metric units, imperial n other sort of options could be implemented. Other than that is very useful n gives u a lot more than u spect once you buy the rest of options.

Heard from a friend that this app helped him a lot when he took chemistry. I took his advice and downloaded the app when I took gen chem. The app was very useful and I was able to learn the topics with ease. Did well on all 3 tests given in the class and eventually ended up with an A. I would recommend the app to all students who have to take chemistry.

App takes a while to load so be patient. Would like to see equations in landscape and bigger font. Love flash cards and Clicking on elements in Mendeleev table.

This is such a great app, since I havent been able to be in any science classes since 9th grade because of how good I was with it, now I can review all the information I know and also learn some information that I have lost. I recommend this for all High School students, its relevant and definitely accurate.

I hardly ever rate apps, but this one really deserves it, its amazing if youre taking AP Chem. Its really worth the upgrade.

I was forced to download this app in order to complete mandatory summer homework for my chemistry II class. It costs too much, and I didnt have enough memory to download each video even after deleting every single app I owned. (Plus, the SAME videos are on YouTube if you know the name of the video. I recommend doing that instead.)

The videos are educational but fairly limited in knowledge. The videos have a lot of white noise in the background and the narrator does seem rather nasally at times. The app creator does seem to be trying to improve this app though so hopefully it will improve in the future. A voice actor could be hired to narrate the videos more professionally. More videos could be added; I dont mind paying more for such an improvement. Different questions could also be reviewed. If the changes are good enough, Im sure others would be persuaded to pay as well. This app needs to be a notch above Khan Academy in order to be worth $5, since Khan Academy is free and available to all.

Dont waste your time. It lets you watch 10/80 videos for free and one of those is an introduction video. You have to buy it AND the app itself takes up 400 mb of space.
